Designed for extreme high-temperature and highly corrosive environments, our High Frequency Welded (HFW) Finned Tubes feature a premium ASTM A213 TP347H stainless steel base tube combined with high-grade Stainless Steel (SS) fins. Unlike standard carbon steel fin tubes, the TP347H material is stabilized with Niobium (Columbium), which prevents intergranular corrosion at elevated temperatures. This specific combination guarantees maximum heat transfer efficiency, exceptional creep strength, and an extended service life in critical industrial heat exchange systems.


Structural Design & Bonding Process of TP347H Base and SS Fins

  • The Base Tube (ASTM A213 TP347H): A seamless austenitic stainless steel tube designed specifically for superheaters and heat exchangers. It acts as the core pressure vessel, handling high internal temperatures and aggressive fluids.


  • The Fin (Stainless Steel - SS304/SS316/SS347): Formed as a continuous helical strip (available in solid plain or serrated types). The stainless steel fin provides an expansive surface area to maximize thermal exchange while resisting external exhaust gas corrosion.


  • The Welding/Bonding Process (HFW): Instead of mechanical embedding, we utilize advanced High-Frequency Resistance Welding (HFW). An electrical current heats the SS fin strip and the TP347H tube surface to a plastic state, and they are forge-welded together under pressure. This creates a 100% true metallurgical bond, ensuring zero contact thermal resistance and preventing the fins from loosening even under severe thermal cycling.
